The end of a remarkable “Decade of Opportunity” for the University of Central Florida is near. Don’t miss your opportunity to cast votes for the most important UCF stories from the 2000s.

A panel of UCF experts developed a list of the 10 most significant stories of the decade that demonstrate how we have fulfilled our promise that “UCF Stands For Opportunity.” We need you to select the top five stories.

Visit this special Web page to cast your ballot.

Voting takes just a few minutes, and the selection criteria are completely up to you. Spread the word and vote quickly … voting ends Dec. 11, and UCF will unveil the winners starting Dec. 14.

The top 10 stories reflect what a panel of university and community leaders, faculty and staff members, alumni, students and other friends of UCF selected as the most significant to them. Panel members faced a difficult task in choosing the top 10 stories, as UCF’s “Decade of Opportunity” has featured so many transformative events and accomplishments.

Narrowing the list to the top five stories will be even more challenging. Will UCF’s incredible growth with quality make the cut? The opening of Bright House Networks Stadium? Maybe UCF’s growing national reputation will be a winner.

Vote now and take advantage of the opportunity to select the top stories of UCF’s “Decade of Opportunity.”
